Full Sail University User Experience Lab is a specialized facility within the Full Sail Game Design Masters program, focusing on user experience in game design and other related fields. It engages in projects for various organizations in information technology, media, and video games, providing students with hands-on experience in areas such as game design, project management, programming, and usability. Students who intern at the lab develop a diverse skill set over a five-month program, preparing them for the demands of the games industry.

📋 Description

• Teach online courses in the Media Design Master of Fine Arts Degree Program • Teach students media design theory, successful design campaign concepts, and industry design production processes • Help students gain knowledge in branding, strategy, team dynamics, client communications, and workflow • Create an environment of learning through effective teaching and maintain a student-centered focus • Utilize varied teaching strategies and encourage active learning • Perform lectures for campus courses and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses • Interact positively with diverse student populations and provide equal learning opportunities • Maintain industry knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education • Adhere to Full Sail University policies, procedures, mission, values, confidentiality, and attendance standards • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must be resident in the state of Florida • Minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience • Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline • Doctorate or Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Digital Arts, Emerging Media or related field from a regionally accredited college or university • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation • Detail oriented • Ability to multi-task while working independently and collaboratively with other teachers and university staff • Ability to interact professionally and constructively with students and staff at all levels in an immersive, fast-paced environment • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint and Outlook • Experience with public speaking and giving presentations, as well as designing presentations • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud • Knowledge of copywriting, target markets, and research strategies • Experience using screen-capture web tools or software that allows for recording voice and screen
