📋 Description

• Define and lead a visionary AI infrastructure roadmap • Drive innovation and integrate cutting-edge AI research into products • Apply emerging techniques such as generative AI and knowledge graphs to practical healthcare solutions • Mentor and guide a multidisciplinary AI team • Ensure AI applications are innovative, trustworthy, and compliant with regulations • Shape the organization's approach to sustainable AI development • Design and refine long-term AI infrastructure strategy • Anticipate market trends and identify risks and opportunities in AI adoption • Collaborate with senior leadership, product teams, and domain experts • Align AI strategy with business and clinical priorities • Communicate strategic direction and research insights effectively

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical lead managing teams of researchers, data scientists, or engineers • 10+ years of expertise in data science, deep learning, expert systems, generative AI, and machine learning • Strong analytical skills and ability to innovate and apply AI creatively to complex healthcare problems • Expertise in staying ahead of AI trends and leveraging emerging tools • Understanding of and willingness to implement HIPAA and relevant data privacy laws • Proven ability to drive vision and direction for AI teams • Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams • Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including executives • Strong collaboration skills with product development, regulatory affairs, and marketing • Start-up experience, especially as a former founder or early engineering hire (nice to have) • Knowledge of or experience with Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, and CGMs (nice to have) • Knowledge of integrating imaging, genomics, text, and sensor data into AI pipelines (nice to have) • Experience deploying AI solutions on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or edge devices (nice to have)
