📋 Description

• Support development of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Scope of Work documents for utility infrastructure projects • Lead and facilitate client meetings, including agendas, documentation, and action-item tracking • Develop, maintain, and improve project-specific EPC Scope of Work documents • Review engineering design submittals for completeness, quality, and compliance • Apply technical knowledge of electric utility infrastructure projects to support execution and decision-making • Collaborate with internal and client subject matter experts to improve standards, procedures, and documentation • Support quality assurance and quality control through technical reviews, peer reviews, and process improvements • Develop and manage document-control procedures • Mentor and train engineers, designers, and project staff • Manage assigned projects’ scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability • Develop project proposals, including scope, schedule, staffing plans, and fee estimates • Serve as primary client contact on assigned projects • Foster client relationships and support business-development initiatives • Serve as technical advisor on advanced engineering concepts and methods • Oversee project teams of engineers and technicians • Plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities for major projects or organizational programs • Analyze project management plans, risks, operational procedures, complex problems, and ethical dilemmas • Recommend new practices, techniques, and process improvements • Support successful EPC program delivery through technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Electrical preferred • 10+ years of experience • Experience with electric utility transmission, distribution, and/or substation projects • Experience developing engineering scopes of work, specifications, or construction packages • Project management experience in utility, consulting, or EPC environments • Experience leading or supporting complex engineering projects/programs and project teams • Strong knowledge of electric utility transmission, distribution, and substation engineering and design practices • Understanding of project management principles and best practices • Familiarity with transmission line and substation construction practices preferred • Knowledge of environmental permitting requirements and regulatory compliance preferred • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required • Must pass MVR check to be confirmed as insurable to drive on company time/company vehicles • Must be willing to travel as required by the job
