📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Databricks ETL/ELT pipelines for Medicaid claims, eligibility, encounters, provider files, and supplemental datasets • Ingest data from MMIS systems, state data warehouses, managed care organizations, and other Medicaid data sources • Implement transformation, validation, and enrichment logic aligned with Medicaid data quality standards, T-MSIS, HIPAA-compliant formats, and state-specific coding rules • Optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost efficiency across large Medicaid datasets • Build and maintain Data Lake models supporting auditability, lineage, and state and federal Medicaid reporting compliance • Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports for Medicaid operations • Implement advanced DAX measures and Medicaid program KPIs • Apply dimensional modeling to Medicaid analytics use cases • Collaborate with Medicaid program staff, policy teams, actuaries, and data governance groups • Maintain documentation of data mappings, transformation logic, and Medicaid-specific business rules • Support deployments across DEV, STG, UAT, and PRD environments • Implement data governance and security controls, including PHI/PII protections and Power BI role-based access • Support CI/CD pipelines for Medicaid data and BI artifacts • Monitor data pipelines and resolve data quality issues involving claims, eligibility, and provider files • Leverage PBM/PBA data for Medicaid pharmacy programs where relevant

🎯 Requirements

• 6 or more years of programming or testing experience with relevant programming languages, relational databases, operating systems, and software • Experience supporting state Medicaid agencies, MMIS modernization, or Medicaid managed care analytics • Familiarity with T-MSIS, CMS reporting requirements, and state-specific Medicaid data standards • Knowledge of Medicaid claims adjudication, eligibility determination, provider enrollment, and encounter submission workflows • Experience with Medicaid quality, compliance, or program integrity reporting • Deep experience with Medicaid claims, eligibility, provider, and encounter data • Strong technical expertise in Databricks, ETL/ELT development, and Power BI • Understanding of Medicaid data structures, program rules, and state-specific reporting requirements • Experience with Spark, DAX, dimensional modeling, Data Lake models, CI/CD, and data governance/security controls • Ability to use video cameras during all interviews and the initial week of orientation
