📋 Description

• Lead lectures and class activities and support students during project work • Plan daily lessons and assess students on an ongoing basis • Participate in product feedback for internal tools • Provide meaningful training experiences in the classroom • Provide prompt feedback on student progress with Galvanize staff and co-instructors • Provide a strong Agile software engineering environment • Coach student teams using Agile software engineering principles • Coach Product and Project Managers on Agile software engineering methodologies • Facilitate a dynamic, collaborative classroom community • Develop curriculum and contribute to the Enterprise product portfolio • Serve as a subject matter expert on business development and solution engineering initiatives • Act as classroom owner and client-facing leader for Enterprise training engagements • Communicate progress, identify impediments, and achieve predetermined learning results • No formal supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree(s) • At least 3+ years of JavaScript, Java, C#/.NET, or Python production experience, or equivalent time consulting or teaching and coaching teams delivering enterprise-level software products, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Fluency in Agile methodologies, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, MongoDB, HTTP, APIs, REST, and JSON • Ability to clear required background checks for certain client contracts • Ability to travel occasionally for on-site engagements for up to 3 months at various client sites around the US • Experience working with Agile or XP teams • Previous teaching and/or mentoring experience with developers, or deep interest in trying it • Pair Programming experience desired • Current high-performing XP team lead or participant desired
