📋 Description

• Transform technology into opportunity as a ServiceNow Developer Principal at GDIT • Design and automate enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM) and CMDB capabilities • Design and configure Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) workflows • Align platform design with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) • Maintain CMDB health by configuring Data Certification, Discovery, and Reconciliation • Design customized scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Service Portal widgets • Design and build integrations between ServiceNow and external data sources • Establish robust data governance policies for hardware and software assets • Design and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript and Glide API • Lead or support the implementation and optimization of core SPM modules • Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation • Contribute to IT-related technical processes reviews and continual process improvement • Create estimations on effort required to produce ServiceNow functionality • Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow CMDB and ITAM, including SAM and HAM • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAM, HAM, and CSDM structures • Demonstrated experience with full-cycle SAM and/or HAM implementations • Strong understanding of software licensing metrics and hardware asset lifecycles • Experience in ServiceNow platform architecture, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub • Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, and REST/SOAP web services • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Performance Analytic • Experience with other ServiceNow modules like ITSM or ITOM • Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions • Understanding of the Agile software testing process • Ability to produce estimates and deployment plans for ServiceNow functionality • Good organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills • Ability to coach, guide, and mentor junior developers • Required: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator • Security Clearance Level: Must possess and maintain a Secret or higher clearance • US Citizenship Required.
