• Provide technical support for the Airfoils and Structural Castings teams • Support supplier development and technology breakthroughs • Own technical processes and products for the castings commodity • Develop and industrialize new casting technologies • Work cross-functionally with Quality and Design engineers to ensure processes achieve established metrics • Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new product and technology development • Mentor suppliers in quality tools, requirements, and new technologies • Partner with sourcing teams on casting supplier development and cost-out projects • Design and implement manufacturing processes • Pursue continuous improvement in quality and cost reductions • Act as a change agent to move operations toward world-class performance • Communicate progress and challenges to leadership teams • Travel to Cincinnati multiple times during the first 6 months for training and onboarding • Attend New Hire Orientation in person on Day 1
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Quality/manufacturing/casting experience • Minimum of 5 years casting experience • Ability to travel 25-50% • U.S. Person status required for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee or refugee status • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Availability to work primarily in the Eastern Time Zone • SX and Equiax investment casting expertise • Additive manufacturing experience • New Product Introduction experience • Siemens NX proficiency or comparable CAD system • TRL / MRL maturation experience • APQP / PPAP experience • Established project management skills
