• Provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Large Combat Engine and Services • Deliver financial and operational commitments to shareholders • Develop working knowledge of competition and market industry to differentiate GE Aviation Military Large Combat Engines and Services • Manage the business cycle, including budgets, forecasts, and Long Range Forecast/Strategy at each organizational level • Define KPIs to measure organizational performance • Analyze performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation, including corrective action plans • Develop specialized expertise for Large Combat Engine & Services and serve as a best-practice/go-to Finance Leader • Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility • Communicate complex or sensitive messages, build consensus, and influence others • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues • Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements • Use technical experience and multiple internal and limited external sources for data analysis and recommendations • Make decisions and solve moderately complex tasks or problems impacting the function
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Military Aviation and/or Department of Defense experience • Prior experience in the Aviation industry or another industry with Long Term Contractual Services • Prior experience working with the US Government and Department of Defense • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance and Certified Public Accountant listed as desired characteristics
