📋 Description

• Manage supplier development from initial qualification through maintenance and improvements driven by business quality needs • Support suppliers in reaching optimum quality and industry standards of excellence • Conduct regular supplier audits and system assessments for quality preparedness and process controls • Ensure adherence to GE process specifications and agency regulations • Execute functional policy and strategy using acquired expertise • Impact projects, processes, and procedures within the assigned field • Provide advice and execute activities within standard functional practices and procedures • Use technical expertise, judgment, and analytic thinking to solve problems • Leverage multiple internal sources outside the immediate team to make decisions • Implement quality plans and qualify suppliers • Own First Article Inspection results • Drive supplier compliance with Source Substantiation Plans • Own supplier results and drive improvements using supplier scorecards • Lead corrective plans and supplier audits where needed • Support cross-functional and cross-business collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier quality • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or supplier quality experience • Travel required: 20–30% • Experience in manufacturing or supplier quality • Statistical analysis • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to lead programs/projects • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Problem solving, root cause and corrective action methodology, data analysis, and quality experience • Access to U.S. export-controlled information requires proof of U.S. Person status: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
