📋 Description

• Drive quality for assigned aerospace forging suppliers • Implement supplier quality plans • Select and qualify suppliers • Own First Article Inspection results • Drive supplier compliance with Source Substantiation Plans • Own supplier results and drive improvements using supplier scorecards • Execute supplier audits • Ensure supplier compliance • Lead corrective plans where needed • Perform Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development • Develop supplier qualifications and action plans • Monitor supplier performance • Assist key suppliers toward industrial standards of excellence • Interpret engineering drawings and manage vendors • Execute policies and strategies using analytical thinking • Support colleagues with less experience and may lead small, low-risk projects • Explain information and build team consensus • Prioritize information for data analysis and solve day-to-day problems • Collaborate cross-functionally across businesses

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university • Minimum of 3 years of Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering experience • Alternative: high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering • For USA roles: high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the relevant job family/function may substitute for a bachelor’s degree • For roles outside the USA: advanced experience in Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering, with knowledge comparable to a bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with relevant experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable; employees may also be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
