📋 Description

• Manage assigned contracts and provide contracting solutions supporting department and business goals • Manage the full contract lifecycle from solicitation receipt through formation, administration, and close-out • Partner with leadership on business and contracting strategy • Assess contractual and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies • Support proposal development and competitive deal strategies • Develop negotiation strategies and guide team members in negotiations with DoD customers, higher-tier contractors, and other agencies • Lead or support negotiations involving complex terms, scope, and risk • Educate internal stakeholders on contract requirements, rights, obligations, and risk posture • Collaborate with Legal Counsel and cross-functional partners • Improve efficiency and execution quality through lean practices, digital tools, and rigorous contracting processes • Provide timely contracting guidance to internal and external customers • Travel as required based on program and customer needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college • At least 7 years of experience in government, commercial, or international contract formation and execution • Solid domain expertise in commercial terms and conditions and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), including FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 • Expertise in the DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS) • Proficiency managing multiple contract types, including complex development efforts • Experience with Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement contract structures • Strong independent judgment and risk-based decision-making ability • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, unless already a U.S. Person • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
