📋 Description

• Provide dedicated technical leadership for the CSCX Customer Subdomain • Make architectural decisions in parallel with development work • Vet designs before implementation to reduce downstream rework • Partner with existing team architects to relieve capacity constraints and accelerate delivery timelines • Strengthen technical decision-making and solution governance across current and upcoming initiatives • Define, design, and evangelize the data fabric architecture strategy and roadmap for customer-centric data initiatives • Collaborate with product management, implementation leads, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable data fabric solutions • Develop and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines • Drive integration of on-premise, cloud, and third-party data sources into a unified data fabric • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, architects, and development teams • Identify and mitigate data security, privacy, and compliance risks • Stay current with data fabric, data management, and customer experience trends and technologies • Document data fabric architecture, designs, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience, OR Associate’s degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience, OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Architecture • Military experience is equivalent to professional experience • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data fabric solutions using data virtualization, data cataloging, and metadata management tools • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required • No employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field • Preferred: Master’s degree • Preferred: 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related technical role, including at least 5 years focused on large-scale data fabric or distributed data systems • Preferred: Strong understanding of relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data warehouses • Preferred: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, S3, ADLS, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks • Preferred: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala • Preferred: Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, and data privacy principles • Preferred: Experience leading complex technical projects and influencing cross-functional teams • Preferred: Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience • Excellent problem-solving skills
