• Respond to service calls to perform repair and planned maintenance on equipment. • Perform planned maintenance, safety and environmental inspections with minimal supervision. • Maintain effective customer relations and daily communication to ensure resolution and proper follow-up. • Implement GE/customer facility contracts as instructed, supporting business goals and objectives. • Assist experienced technicians and Field Service Engineers with basic and complex repairs or resolutions. • Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery within the assigned area. • Document all actions and submit reports or summaries according to schedule. • Care for spares, tools and test equipment; ensure calibration and maintain approved parts inventory. • Manage vendor service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies. • Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures for safe and effective use of medical equipment. • Meet Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Higher education required. • Two years of experience performing in a compliance environment and working within code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of devices. • Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills. • Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations. • Willing to occasionally travel outside of assigned region.
