📋 Description

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on customer equipment • Perform installation, validation, and maintenance on assigned CT/PET equipment • Lead, instruct, and assist less experienced Field Engineers; provide coaching and feedback • Serve as technical expert for escalations and FMI’s for one or more modalities • Lead customer communications and serve as escalation point for customer concerns, including installations • Own customer issues from dispatch or identification through resolution • Collaborate with team members to ensure appropriate customer solutions • Co-lead regular team or modality meetings as required • Assist the Area Service Leader in creating growth and/or deployment strategies • Maintain customer relationships and ensure timely communication, resolution, and follow-up • Follow company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements • Document all work performed daily, including debriefing, metrics, and parts ordering • Partner with customers and/or sales teams to recommend value-added services • Use the GE HealthCare escalation process and collaborate with regional and national support on corrective action plans • Provide application training to clinical or scientific staff on designated equipment as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent military education and 6 years of experience servicing electronic equipment, or high school diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience • Valid driver’s license • Experience with web applications and Microsoft Suite products • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available • Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
