📋 Description

• Observe and perform equipment service processes and procedures for less complex customer diagnostic imaging equipment • Evaluate and troubleshoot imaging equipment issues in hospital radiology environments • Implement appropriate equipment repairs • Complete preventative maintenance on designated equipment • Perform safety and environmental inspections according to Health and Human Services and Environmental Health and Safety guidelines • Complete service and repair documentation following hospital protocol and GEHC policies and procedures • Maintain daily customer communications to ensure resolution, follow-up, and customer satisfaction • Care for tools and test equipment and ensure calibration • Maintain technical knowledge of standards, codes, and procedures for safe and effective medical equipment use • Mentor with and assist experienced technicians on progressive repairs and issue resolution • Work as part of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to assigned accounts • Complete required quality and compliance training by defined deadlines • Identify and immediately report customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization • Comply with GEHC quality systems, policies, goals, laws, and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• AS, BS, MS degree, military education, certificate program, or current student with less than 12 months from completion • Alternatively, High School Diploma/GED with 6 months of experience servicing electronic, IT, or mechanical equipment • Experience and/or coursework interpreting schematic diagrams and troubleshooting and performing planned maintenance on basic diagnostic imaging or electronic equipment • Reliable transportation • Valid driver's license • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Required vision abilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception • Successful completion of GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test • Compliance with customer access policies, including required immunizations and possible additional drug tests or background checks • Must not relocate more than 30 miles from current location without manager approval
