📋 Description

• Collect, compile, organize, and analyze spatial and tabular data for GIS application development • Update and maintain complex database information using current technologies • Design, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise instances • Manipulate structured data using scripting languages, SQL, and/or GIS • Create products and models using Python scripting and/or process automation • Produce GIS technical recommendations, assessments, standard operating procedures, and help documents • Perform spatial and non-spatial statistical and analytical work • Conduct spatial data analyses including static maps, interactive maps, and derived spatial data products • Develop strategies for real-time and/or big spatial datasets • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, data engineers, data modelers, and IT staff on complex analyses • Translate business value goals into maps, visuals, and supporting data models • Write GIS strategic planning documents, policies, procedures, and technical documentation • Create documentation and provide training to cultivate organizational data literacy • Develop and customize tools for data loading, conversion, and web-based applications for sharing GIS data

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in geospatial analysis using GIS or geospatial frameworks • Expertise working with spatial data and stakeholders • Ability to design, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise instances on multiple hardware servers • Experience working with structured data in databases, GIS, or spreadsheets using scripting languages, SQL, and/or GIS • Python scripting and process automation • GIS technical recommendations, assessments, standard operating procedures, and documentation • Statistical and analytical techniques using spatial and non-spatial data • Spatial aggregations and joins, neighborhood analysis, and raster analysis • Proficiency with ESRI GIS toolsets, ArcGIS Online, and low-code/no-code cloud GIS tools • Experience with real-time and/or big spatial datasets • Experience with ETL tools, Data Interoperability, digitizing, geographic standards, coordinate systems, cartographic design, and raster/vector data • Experience with geo-referencing, geoprocessing, geocoding, 3D corridors and surface models, linear referencing, web mapping services, and multiple spatial data formats • Software development for data loading, conversion, and web-based GIS applications • Technical knowledge of Esri software, especially ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, APIs, and associated solutions • Python and JavaScript • Experience with ArcGIS platforms and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) • Exceptional customer service orientation and excellent problem-solving and organizational skills • Bachelor's degree in geography or IT, or an advanced degree in geography or IT • Certification in geospatial technologies, including GISP, or ability to acquire certification within 6 months of employment • Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required bachelor's or advanced degree on a year-for-year basis
