📋 Description

• Manage, perform, and coordinate site activities • Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation • Respond to emergency repairs and services for troublesome equipment • Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives • Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and prepare job status, customer, timesheet, and expense reports • Sign off on all implemented changes • Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality • Maintain safety standards in accordance with GE requirements • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment vintages • Coach, mentor, and train team members • Prepare technical reports for customer records and future outages • Ensure required parts are shipped to the site • Perform installation walk-downs to verify contractor work • Perform aftermarket upgrades at the site level • Travel extensively to projects and field assignments • Perform other duties aligned with FieldCore’s vision and core values

🎯 Requirements

• Technical/University degree or qualifying experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Field Services role • 7+ years of experience in a field services or power generation equipment maintenance position • Successful completion of required level III training programs is a minimum requirement • Strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams • Competence in dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment • Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments • English proficiency required • Experience and training on Alstom, Siemens, or other OEM equipment • Extensive Field Engineering Services experience • Strong organizational and project management skills • Strong oral and written interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills • Strong business acumen and ability to sell GE products to the customer • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
