📋 Description

• Safely install, maintain, and repair heavy rotating machinery used mainly in power generation applications • Work closely with Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department • Read blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical documentation to determine work procedures • Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans and drawings in industrial establishments • Dismantle and assemble machinery using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on power tools, hand tools, and training equipment • Move machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, chain falls, and trucks • Align machinery and equipment using precision alignment tools and equipment • Perform machining and welding operations for lab and shop training equipment parts • Inspect materials and machines using precision measuring equipment • Manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and control of tools, equipment, and supplies • Determine equipment specifications and prepare mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic parts lists for purchasing • Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies • Travel and remain away from home for extended periods • Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or an associate degree from a relevant technical department • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, installation or dismantling of industrial equipment • Proven ability to disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble complex rotating machinery • High flexibility, no travel restrictions • Valid driver’s license • Manage time-sensitive tasks and maintain a schedule within operationally challenging environments • Willingness to travel extensively to projects and various assignments • A strong ownership and work ethic • Good verbal communication skills and critical thinking ability • Proficient mechanical/technical skills • Driven to learn and solve problems with willingness of communicating with internal and external customers • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
