📋 Description

• Develop tooling, fixture, and lift fixture process and equipment standards • Deploy global standards across Aero Alliance factories with local factory technical leaders • Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes • Define, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks and calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and technical and technology training • Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes • Partner with EHS, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Industrialization, and Sourcing teams • Partner with channels on new repair processes and qualifications • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using FMEA and Root Cause Analysis • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams on preventive and predictive programs • Drive continuous improvement to reduce equipment downtime and improve quality • Lead failure and chronic-issue investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions • Provide technical support for asset management, equipment life-cycle analysis, and spare-parts optimization • Train local factory manufacturing engineers • Participate in new equipment design and installation and process implementation using Design for Reliability • Interpret business and technical challenges and recommend best practices • Lead functional teams or projects and influence stakeholders on complex topics • Engage Design for Six Sigma methodology, including machine capability measurement, process-requirement analysis, and process-yield strategies • Deploy lean principles including 3P, Total Productive Maintenance, Jidoka, PQ/PR, Takt Cycle, Standard Work, Value Stream Maps, Kaizen, 4D/8D/A3 Problem Solving, and Poka Yoke

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college for US candidates • For non-US candidates: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience • US candidates: 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality • US candidates: 5+ years of experience in a technical role, such as manufacturing engineer or similar, with expertise in tooling, fixtures, material lifting devices and fixtures • Non-US candidates: significant years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality • Non-US candidates: significant years of experience in a technical role with expertise in tooling, fixtures, material lifting devices and fixtures • Strong/proven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics • Project Management skills and experience • Fluency in English in writing and speaking • Approximately 25% travel • US candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Desired: 10+ years of technical experience with expertise in tooling, fixtures, material lifting devices and fixtures • Desired: Direct leadership experience of professional and production employees • Desired: Experience leading Kaizen teams • Desired: Experience with Zero Defect (Built in Quality) framework and elements • Desired: Experience managing a cost center or P&L with understanding of operational metrics
