📋 Description

• Advise utility customers on managing and planning for distributed energy resources and their impacts on distribution systems • Work with Solution Architects to shape solution architecture based on customer needs and product capabilities • Define success criteria and author solution diagrams • Deploy Opus One solutions to client environments for project use cases and DER planning scenarios • Define project goals, objectives, requirements, and technical functionality • Design, diagram, and document customer solutions • Facilitate requirements, design, and solution workshops with clients and internal product and development teams • Document customer-specific requirements, acceptance criteria, and necessary features • Define user acceptance testing processes, test cases, and progress metrics • Standardize processes, expectations, and deliverables across projects with Project Managers • Create business cases and new product requirements based on customer processes and policies • Collaborate with the Solutions team to improve solution consulting and delivery practices • Develop user acceptance documentation, training PowerPoint modules, and training video modules • Train utility customers and end users on GridOS • Identify project delivery risks and recommend mitigation strategies • Support sales activities with technical demonstrations and identify potential upsell opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar program, focused on power systems, or relevant experience • Comfortable automating processes and utilizing or building scripting solutions • Familiarity with distributed energy resource management, distribution planning, IT, SCADA, and asset management • Strong background in Excel analysis, PowerPoint, and Visio • Ability to deliver within project deadlines with strong quality focus • Ability to configure solutions to customer needs using existing product functionality • Ability to analyze approaches and processes and solve complex problems • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical topics • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and software quickly • Customer-facing experience and ability to understand and document customer needs • Nice to have: VBA or Python scripting experience • Nice to have: Master's degree • Nice to have: familiarity with cloud-based solutions and deployment activities • Nice to have: utility integration experience, such as SCADA, ADMS, OT, or OMS • Nice to have: experience with power system analysis software such as OpenDSS, CYME, PowerFactory, or Synergi
