âą Delivering a world-class technical training experience to our controls-upgrade customers âą Customizing training material to meet customer objectives and target audience âą Customizing simulation software to site-specific application along with class workshops and labs âą Interacting with customers, training coordinators, project managers, project engineers and other functions âą Reporting to the global customer training leader to deliver quality training for CSS customers âą Oversight of technical advising of field services & mobilization for critical Customer Issue Resolution (CIR) âą Ensuring adequate training equipment, manuals and tools are available for each class âą Compliance with customer and GE HSE policy when delivering training onsite or at the GE facility âą Timely reporting of risks related to incomplete software, delayed shipments, and site hazardous conditions âą Mentoring junior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
âą BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university âą More than 7 years of experience in Power Plant controls engineering, field services and instruction âą Strong communication skills with passion for training âą Proficiency with Cimplicity, ToolboxST and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) âą Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle conflicts and pressure âą Role involves 50% travel to customer sites within the North America (mainly the US)
