📋 Description

• Drive quality at GE Vernova Gas suppliers through comprehensive quality plans • Select, qualify, approve, and develop suppliers with Sourcing and Engineering • Lead qualification processes for serial production of complex parts and assemblies, including compressor, combustor, turbine module, and associated equipment • Manage supplier performance using detailed scorecards • Define and execute product and process qualifications • Review and approve Manufacturing Process Plans, Product and Process Quality Plans, control plans, and inspection plans • Translate critical-to-quality, customer, and regulatory requirements into supplier process controls and inspection methods • Validate first article inspections and ongoing product verification • Monitor process capability and drive corrective actions • Manage and approve Supplier Deviation Requests • Evaluate and disposition supplier nonconformances with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Field teams • Lead containment, rework, and recovery actions at supplier facilities, assembly sites, and wind farm sites • Analyze Cost of Poor Quality data, field feedback, and assembly/shop issues • Lead Root Cause Analysis and FMEA with suppliers • Conduct quality system, product, and process audits at supplier sites • Verify compliance with GE Vernova QMS requirements, procedures, and applicable industry standards • Drive supplier continuous improvement and Cost of Poor Quality reduction initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical field from an accredited university or college, or equivalent industry experience in lieu of an engineering or technical degree • Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T specifications • Experience and knowledge of complex machining, heat treat, and welding processes • Experience conducting holistic, quality system, process, and/or product audits • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop vendors/suppliers • Previous experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing/Process Quality • Strong technical, oral, and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments • Master’s degree in engineering and minimum 8 years of professional experience preferred as desired characteristics • Experience with gas turbines and power plants • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems and document, plan, and execute projects • Quality training and/or related work experience, such as ISO 9001 • Root Cause Analysis training in a recognized methodology, such as 8D, PSR, RCA, or equivalent • Strong capabilities in FMEA, error proofing (Poka-Yoke), MSA, and SPC • Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent quality certification • Hands-on expertise with fabrications, welding, machining, and NDT inspection • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
