📋 Description

• Own the cost reduction strategy for Flange to Flange (F2F) products • Partner with Commodity Leaders, Global Materials Leaders, Engineering, and suppliers to identify, plan, and execute cost actions • Drive new supplier development, technical collaboration to improve yield and output, and design-driven cost improvements • Define and mobilize resources with Sourcing, Finance, and Engineering leadership, including personnel, contracted services, OPEX, and CAPEX requirements • Lead cross-functional execution across Sourcing, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Pivot-to-Value (P2V) • Drive alignment, accountability, and momentum across workstreams • Improve supplier performance and capacity through lean, standard work, daily management, problem solving, waste elimination, and continuous improvement practices • Ensure compliance and risk management across sourcing policy, supplier approval processes, competitive bidding, delegation of authority, and cybersecurity requirements • Prepare and present strategic recommendations to senior business leadership • Partner with Supplier Quality to drive QMS adherence, reduce supplier defects and process capability gaps, and lower COPQ

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field • Minimum 7 years of experience in Sourcing, Manufacturing, and/or Supply Chain in an industrial setting • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) • Experience in contract negotiation, supplier selection, and contract implementation within a complex manufacturing environment • Product and process knowledge in Gas Turbine, Generator, or Steam Turbine commodities • Experience developing and executing multi-year sourcing or supply chain strategies • Prior people leadership experience • Cross-functional background in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing • Strong quantitative, data analysis, and project management skills • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or APICS certification • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Work-Out, or lean/quality frameworks
