📋 Description

• Manage risk processes in the commercial Inquiry-to-Order phase • Lead customer negotiations and ensure an acceptable risk profile for GE • Engage approvers and subject-matter experts as needed • Review and redline customer terms and conditions and other commercial documents • Own ComOps and related risk processes, tools, and governance instances • Ensure consistent ITO operations aligned with policies, processes, and metrics • Drive early engagement, strategy development, and approvals with regional, product management, operations, and support functions • Partner with tendering to develop high-quality winning proposals • Partner with sales to align commercial strategy with regional plans for orders, cash, and margin • Support design and implementation of proposal standards and new commercial models • Ensure seamless handover of signed contracts to the operations team • Support broader North America and global GSI initiatives • Lead transactional review and compliance processes for US Government opportunities • Engage US Government governance teams across GE Vernova and Electrification • Coordinate US Government corporate efforts across Grid Solutions, including SAM registration, DOE funding initiatives, and audit requirements • Support the OTR Contract Management team on US Government efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering or related area from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial Operations, contract management, sales, tendering, bid management and/or project management within energy (T&D, Power Generation, Oil & Gas), industrial, or infrastructure • Experience with complex projects, developing complex proposals or structuring complex deals • In-depth knowledge of contractual terms and conditions • Experience structuring and negotiating contracts to minimize business risk • Experience with High Voltage projects, including AC Substations, HVDC and FACTS technologies • Experience with complex services contracts, including Long-Term Service Agreements • Experience with US Government contracting, including FARs, DFARs, COTS, Buy America, etc. • Strong contractual and negotiation skills • Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution projects or power projects • Previous experience in the Energy industry • Familiarity with SPEAK4GE (SFDC) • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Self-sufficiency and ability to program manage • Ability to think strategically and be operationally rigorous • Change-agent mindset with strong business acumen • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
