📋 Description

• Plan and implement projects at customer work sites in the United States and abroad • Coordinate the activities of staff and subcontractors • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout each project • Commission projects and resolve specification issues • Handle correspondence and provide periodic project updates • Ensure customer satisfaction • Negotiate and coordinate with staff as appropriate • Develop specialized knowledge and serve as a best-practice and quality resource • Contribute to strategy and policy development • Ensure delivery within the area of responsibility • Analyze data to support recommendations and operational decisions • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues • Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements • Explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus • Influence others on topics within the field • Travel domestically and internationally up to 30%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Finance • 3–5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects • 3–5 years of experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Primavera P6 • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • Proven experience managing customer-facing projects, preferably in the software industry • PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred • Certification in software development methodologies such as Certified ScrumMaster or Kanban is a plus • Additional utility-industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager or NERC Certifications are highly desirable • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to lead programs and projects • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Experience in the utility industry, particularly with control room systems • Knowledge of utility industry regulations, standards, and best practices such as NERC and FERC • Experience with utility industry-specific software such as SCADA systems
