📋 Description

• Provide leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance • Drives appropriate mechanisms in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations • Coordinate execution in close partnership with Commercial, Operations, and TPRM leadership under the GE Vernova Antibribery and Anticorruption program principles • Manage and enhance core compliance programs across Software including risk assessment; socializing policies and procedures; training; communication; monitoring and reporting • Provide legal and compliance oversight on third-party engagements • Support and coordinate compliance initiatives across all Software business units and functions

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in Compliance, law, multinational and corporate legal experience preferably with a background in investigations, anti-corruption/ABAC, third-party risk management, channel partner compliance, cyber-security, regulatory, or international trade compliance • At least 3 years of experience advising software, technology, digital, or industrial businesses in the compliance or legal function, with demonstrated exposure to channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs • Working knowledge of anti-corruption laws and frameworks (FCPA, UK Bribery Act), third-party risk management principles, and channel partner compliance best practices in a multinational environment • JD is a plus; coupled with license to practice by the applicable state Bar Association • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coordinate Commercial, Operations, Compliance, and Legal functions globally • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects across multiple business units and geographies • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Deep understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, GE Vernova’s ABAC program, TPRM standards, Enterprise Compliance Standards, and channel partner compliance requirements • Experience working with or managing channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs in a multinational industrial or technology environment is strongly preferred
