📋 Description

• Lead a nationwide team of Field Reimbursement Managers covering the West region • Report to the Sr. Director, National Field Reimbursement Management - HIV Prevention • Provide leadership to the Field Reimbursement team and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align access and reimbursement strategies with business objectives • Lead recruitment, training, mentorship, and professional development of Field Reimbursement Managers • Cultivate a high-performance, patient-centric, compliant, efficient, empowered, and continuously improving team environment • Serve as a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement policies and practices • Train and coach the team to assist offices and explain complex reimbursement scenarios • Maintain knowledge of healthcare policies, insurance regulations, and market trends • Build relationships with healthcare providers and office staff handling patient access and reimbursement issues • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas • Provide regular updates to senior management on access and reimbursement initiatives • Conduct in-person stakeholder meetings across designated regions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and twelve years’ experience OR Master's Degree and ten years’ experience OR PhD and eight years’ experience • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in dynamic environments • In-depth understanding of healthcare policies, insurance regulations, and reimbursement practices, particularly within specialty pharmacy and biotechnology sectors • Experience engaging with and managing large, complex provider accounts • Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, specialty payer landscape, and reimbursement pathways including commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid • Understanding of local and state policy changes' effect on reimbursement policies • Willingness to travel 75% of the time across designated regions • Preferred: BA/BS/RN with 12 years of experience working for a major pharmaceutical organization on the field reimbursement team • Preferred: MA/MS/PharmD with 10 years of experience working for a major pharmaceutical organization on the field reimbursement team • Preferably experience with specialty pharmacies and utilizing a HUB service • Preferably experience in multiple buying models, including buy & build
