• Responds to clinical inquiries regarding marketed or developmental Gilead products • Develops and presents complex scientific and clinical data • Identifies and develops regional and national opinion leaders to support Gilead products • Establishes relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and providers • Provides sales force training at national and regional levels • Works on Gilead Phase IV programs collaborating with investigators • Selects sites for clinical trials and resolves obstacles collaboratively • Travels to appointments, meetings, and conferences regularly
• Advanced degree (i.e. MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP/PA) required or may have a BS in pharmacy or BS/MS nursing • At least 5 years clinical practice experience • Clinical practice experience within therapeutic area is desirable • Well-developed experience in preparing and delivering presentations • Experience in the management or investigation of clinical trials • Clinical patient contact experience • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Must be aware of complex scientific data and regulatory requirements
