📋 Description

• Project manage GEM’s editorial calendar, including timelines, contributors, approvals, and communications support for flagship releases such as Boom and Bust Coal and Pedal to the Metal. • Provide editorial guidance and maintain the quality, structure, and formatting of GEM reports and briefings. • Collaborate with the Communications Director and GEM programs to identify, develop, produce, and pitch compelling media stories based on GEM data. • Write and edit communications materials for editorial and product releases, including media pitches, press materials, web content, newsletters, and other external communications. • Collaborate with the Digital Communications Manager to translate reports and data into messaging frameworks that support GEM’s digital strategy and maximize the reach and impact of editorial and product releases. • Collaborate with the Director of Product and the Data Visualization Analyst to develop clear, accurate, and visually compelling charts, graphics, and other data-driven content. • Support media outreach, track coverage and impact, and provide additional communications support as organizational priorities evolve.

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years experience in communications or journalism. • Ability to manage multiple projects involving a variety of stakeholders. • Scrupulous attention to detail. • Strategic thinker with a track record of supporting organizational-wide change. • Fluency in English.
