📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, validation, and deployment of machine learning and AI solutions • Conduct applied research and develop analytical approaches to solve complex mission challenges • Design and execute studies using large-scale structured and unstructured datasets • Develop statistical models, predictive analytics solutions, and advanced analytical methodologies • Advise program leadership on technical strategies, emerging technologies, and analytical best practices • Deliver analytical findings through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and executive briefings • Lead model validation, quality assurance, and technical review activities • Mentor data scientists and analysts while providing technical leadership across project teams • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify mission gaps and data-driven solutions • Support strategic planning and capability development initiatives • Participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional team collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative discipline • Ten (10) years of experience in applied research, big data analytics, statistics, data science, computer science, operations research, or related quantitative disciplines • Seven (7) years of direct machine learning experience • Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments • Experience leading technical teams and advanced analytics initiatives • Experience working with large-scale datasets and complex analytical problems • Experience presenting technical findings to executive and stakeholder audiences • Expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, and data mining • Strong understanding of model validation and analytical evaluation techniques • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
