📋 Description

• Develop introspection and evaluation tools capable of processing billions of examples • Build and refine evaluation signals and introspection tools to shorten the path toward optimal models • Develop and maintain visualization tools and metrics presentation within the core model evaluation loop • Enable ML teams to introspect model behavior and make actionable, data-driven decisions with minimal manual intervention • Provide technical leadership through design and code reviews • Establish evaluation tooling best practices • Collaborate with Data, Infra Foundations, and Simulation/On-Road Validation teams to align offline evaluation with real-world vehicle behavior • Design and implement large-scale evaluation workflows for Compound AI driving models • Utilize model-based metrics, end-to-end simulation, and tooling connecting evaluation signals to data selection, training, and launch decisions • Drive a cohesive evaluation flywheel: better signal, better data and training decisions, better models, better signal

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity and experience with React/TypeScript • Familiarity and experience with WebGL/WebGPU for 3D sensor visualization • Familiarity and experience with Streamlit • Familiarity and experience with Jupyter Notebooks • Familiarity and experience with Python • Familiarity and experience with Node.js • Familiarity and experience with high-throughput data streaming • Familiarity and experience with Spark for stream processing • Familiarity and experience with BigQuery • Familiarity and experience with Kubernetes • Experience shipping production software and iterating quickly in a startup within an enterprise environment • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering partners • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • Previous experience in Robotics or Autonomous Driving preferred
