📋 Description

• Lead the development of accurate, competitive bids for multifamily, residential, and commercial projects from initial site walk-through to final submission • Build complete, accurate cost estimates, from quantity takeoffs through final bid packages • Respond to RFPs and prepare bid packages, including city, county, and local opportunities • Represent the company in person and virtually during bid Q&A sessions and estimate presentations • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing • Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities • Partner with project managers and leadership to develop and refine project budgets • Use AI tools to sharpen estimates and bid materials • Support business development and other business needs

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive construction estimating experience, ideally including government RFPs • A track record of successful bids across multi-family, residential, and commercial projects • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and comfortable using AI tools • Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and building codes • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to earn the trust of clients and teammates • A confident, persuasive presence – comfortable walking stakeholders through the numbers • Ability to work independently while meeting key deliverables across multiple bids and deadlines • Patience and flexibility for the detail-heavy, paperwork-intensive nature of government bidding • Applications welcomed from US Citizens and Green Card holders only
