📋 Description

• Design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies across Neurology programs in rodents and non-human primates toward IND submission • Partner with toxicology and translational teams to ensure rigorous, reproducible, and translatable in vivo pharmacology data • Inform dose selection and go/no-go decisions • Develop and implement pharmacodynamic and efficacy assessments • Troubleshoot assays and quality-control data from CROs and external partners • Manage CRO relationships and monitor study progress • Identify emerging study risks and present progress updates in team meetings • Analyze in vivo pharmacology endpoints, including PK/bioanalysis and pharmacodynamic and/or efficacy endpoints

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience within in vivo pharmacology • Experience with small molecules and antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) preferred • Experience in rare disease or developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE) models strongly preferred • Strong intellectual curiosity, including routine engagement with the scientific community and familiarity with literature • Direct experience and willingness to design pharmacology studies and lead coordination of external efforts • Exposure to IND-enabling studies • Experience writing regulatory or technical reports • Ability to operate independently and cross-functionally in a lean, fast-moving biotech environment • Experience with rodent Neurology model characterization, test article dosing, tissue processing, qPCR, Western blot, and ELISA • Ability to drive work through CROs and external partners
