📋 Description

• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including processing and posting all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions • Review and approve AP/AR entries for accuracy and completeness before management review • Prepare and post month-end close journal entries, including accruals and partner reconciliations • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations and support variance and flux analysis • Support the monthly close process through timely approvals, accurate documentation, and clean financial data • Assist with audit preparation by maintaining organized records and responding to auditor requests • Partner with the Senior Accountant and broader Finance team to follow workflows, incorporate feedback, and improve processes • Support transition of accounting functions from an outside accounting firm in-house and help build scalable internal accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of general accounting experience • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Proven experience in a variety of core accounting principles, journal entries, and month-end close processes • Experience in a private company environment is required, or transitioned from public to private accounting for at least one year • Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility • High attention to detail, capacity to get work done, and organizational skills
