📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate and curate relevant grant opportunities tailored to each organisation’s mission, programmes, eligibility and funding needs • Write compelling letters of inquiry, grant applications and supporting narratives aligned with funder requirements • Prompt, guide and review AI-assisted outputs to accelerate research, drafting and iteration while maintaining accuracy, judgement and tone • Review drafts to ensure they are accurate, persuasive, funder-ready and easy for nonprofits to use • Balance pace, quality and care across multiple partner relationships • Work with approximately 25–30 nonprofit partners at a time, understanding their goals, programmes and impact • Raise risks, blockers and deadline concerns early • Help improve and scale the grant support process without compromising quality

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years’ grant writing experience, ideally for nonprofits, charities or mission-led organisations • Understanding of funding landscapes, eligibility criteria, funder priorities and competitive proposals • Ability to turn rough context into specific, persuasive, funder-ready narratives • Confidence using AI tools for research, drafting, editing and quality assurance • Ability to take responsibility, communicate early and work in a fast-moving environment • Strong attention to detail regarding deadlines, geographic nuances, funding restrictions and structural requirements • Partner-first communication combining warmth, clarity and sound judgement • Process discipline and ability to manage clear systems and workflows • A degree from a recognised university, or equivalent evidence of strong analytical thinking (bonus, not required) • Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, philanthropy or corporate social impact (bonus)
