📋 Description

• Oversee patient case management and timely completion of tasks throughout the full patient journey • Own the patient support experience from onboarding through adherence • Identify and resolve access and adherence barriers to expedite time to therapy • Operate autonomously on day-to-day case decisions, escalating critical inflection points to leadership • Manage difficult caregiver conversations and non-routine access situations • Serve as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers • Communicate benefit investigation results and educate patients on financial assistance programs • Coordinate benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and financial assistance with internal and external stakeholders • Build and maintain relationships with specialty pharmacy leads, field reimbursement managers, clinical educators, and provider office managers • Coordinate therapy initiation, shipment, and adherence support with dispensing specialty pharmacies • Monitor engagement and adherence signals and intervene when risks emerge • Document interactions accurately in Salesforce and other patient support program systems • Identify case patterns and recommend SOP, training, or system enhancements to Patient Services leadership • Report adverse drug events communicated by patients or caregivers in accordance with pharmaceutical requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 5 years of case management experience within or supporting pharmaceutical patient support programs • Working knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, prior authorization workflows, appeals processes, specialty pharmacy operations, and patient assistance program design • Experience working with caregivers and families navigating treatment on behalf of patients • Hands-on experience collaborating with field-based teams and specialty pharmacies • Proficiency with Salesforce and patient support program platforms • Experience utilizing business rules for free goods programs and Patient Assistance Program eligibility • Nurse, Medical Assistant, Social Worker, or senior reimbursement specialist experience preferred • Experience supporting CNS therapies strongly preferred • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed • Comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, clear communication, and focus
