📋 Description

• Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript of approximately 45,000–75,000 words • Develop a rich, Christ-rooted Bible study on marriage • Combine substantive biblical exposition with practical, hopeful, and transformational application for couples • Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision • Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment • Provide all proposal materials in a single PDF • Include a suggested title and subtitle, controlling idea, resource summary, theological and interpretive issues, target audience, comparable titles, author bio, complete study outline, three complete sample study days, front and back matter, and timeline/specifications

• Mid-level experience indicated • Contract, per-project engagement • Ability to research, outline, and write a 45,000–75,000-word manuscript • Ability to develop substantive biblical exposition with practical, hopeful, transformational application • Ability to ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment • Ability to collaborate with an editorial team through multiple revision rounds • Proposal must be submitted as a single PDF, not a Word Doc or Google Doc • Proposal must include a suggested title and subtitle • Proposal must include a one-sentence controlling idea stating the central theological message and intended reader transformation • Proposal must summarize resources informing the theological approach, including commentaries or theological works • Proposal must identify theological tensions, debated interpretive issues, and application pitfalls, and address them in accordance with TDGC’s ecumenical approach • Proposal must describe the target audience • Proposal must include 2–3 comparable Bible studies and explain the distinctions • Proposal must include an author bio explaining unique qualifications • Proposal must include a complete Bible study outline with passages and one-sentence main-idea summaries for each day • Except for year-long studies, each week must contain five study days and two rest days • Proposal must include at least three complete sample study days, each with 750–1000 words of Scripture commentary, two reflection/application questions, and one prayer prompt • Proposal must describe supplemental front and back matter such as maps, charts, illustrations, or timelines • Proposal must include current manuscript status, anticipated delivery date, and other relevant timeline/specification information • Generative AI must not be used to generate or refine sample study days • Proposals missing required components cannot be reviewed
