📋 Description

• Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript of approximately 45,000–75,000 words • Develop a Christ-centered book for parents raising neurodivergent children, including children with ADHD, Autism, sensory/auditory processing disorders, or motor and learning differences • Focus on unifying, foundational principles rather than the specifics of a single diagnosis • Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision • Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment • Prepare a complete book proposal, including title and subtitle, controlling idea, summary, target audience, comparable titles, author bio, detailed chapter outline, timeline, and sample material • Submit the proposal materials in a single PDF • Provide the complete book introduction and two fully written sample chapters

🎯 Requirements

• Mid-level experience indicated • Ability to research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript of approximately 45,000–75,000 words • Ability to write for parents of neurodivergent children, including ADHD, Autism, sensory/auditory processing disorders, or motor and learning differences • Ability to focus on foundational principles applicable across a wide spectrum of diagnoses and needs • Ability to collaborate with an editorial team through multiple revision rounds • Ability to ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment • Proposal must include a title and subtitle • Proposal must include a 1–2 sentence controlling idea • Proposal must include a one-paragraph summary covering purpose, scope, structure, and tone • Proposal must include a specific target-audience description addressing life stage, struggles, questions, longings, and current relevance • Proposal must include 2–3 comparable titles published within the past five years, with an explanation of overlap and meaningful distinctions • Proposal must include an author bio covering education, relevant ministry/counseling/academic/professional experience, subject-matter expertise, relevant lived experience if appropriate, and previous publishing or writing experience • Proposal must include a detailed chapter outline with chapter titles and main ideas • Proposal must include current manuscript status, estimated total word count, and anticipated delivery date • Proposal must include the complete book introduction and two fully written representative sample chapters • All proposal materials must be submitted in a single PDF, not a Word Doc or Google Doc • Generative AI must not be used to generate or refine sample chapters; the company strongly discourages generative AI use in book proposals
