📋 Description

• Turn clinical encounter data into clean, compliant claims • Submit claims to payers accurately and on time • Investigate and resolve denials, rejections, and discrepancies • Trace billing problems to intake, coding, or submission and fix workflows • Work across eCW, Epic, Waystar, and AdvancedMD • Pull billing reports and queries • Audit billing workflows and recommend improvements • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to maintain clean data throughout the revenue cycle • Achieve 98%+ claim and encounter submission accuracy • Ensure timely resolution of denials and rejections • Maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements • Continuously reduce billing errors • Support strong alignment with clinical and operations teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of medical billing experience in primary care or managed care settings • Strong experience with encounter data and claims workflows • Hands-on knowledge of eCW and Epic or similar systems • Experience using clearinghouses such as Waystar or AdvancedMD • Understanding of HMO/PPO workflows and payer rules • Experience supporting physician billing in primary care, preferably with front-to-back revenue cycle knowledge • Understanding of managed care and value-based billing nuances, including capitation models • Understanding of CPT II codes for Quality and HEDIS reporting • Analytical, detail-oriented, and calm under volume • Ownership mindset and proactive issue resolution • Alignment with the values of Heart, Excellence, Accountability, Resilience, and Teamwork
