📋 Description

• Own the definition and evolution of user experience across an assigned portfolio of GridUnity technology products • Ensure clarity, usability, coherence, and platform consistency across technologies, features, workflows, and shared patterns • Contribute to and maintain UX patterns, interaction models, and design standards • Define and track UX success metrics using qualitative and quantitative insights • Communicate UX insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership • Partner with Product Owners to translate strategy, roadmap priorities, and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes • Collaborate with the Insights team to incorporate market, regulatory, and Voice of Customer insights • Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, workflow walkthroughs, and usability testing • Synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations • Work with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, understood, and faithfully implemented, including edge cases, error states, data availability, permissions, and system constraints • Support iterative delivery through design reviews, feedback cycles, and post-release UX evaluation • Guide UX decisions during platform transitions and major product evolution • Balance configurability and standardization • Create documentation, guides, and best practices to support platform longevity • Report to the Director of Product Management and partner with Product Owners, Engineering, and Customer Experience

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing user experiences for complex B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise software solutions • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work, including research, flows, interaction design, and delivered product • Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering in an Agile environment • Ability to design for complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and expert users • Excellent communication skills; able to explain and defend design decisions using evidence • Experience designing products for regulated industries is an advantage • Experience with SaaS platforms balancing standardization with customer-specific configuration is an advantage • Experience supporting platform migrations or major product evolutions is an advantage • Must qualify as a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must not require visa sponsorship; GridUnity does not provide visa sponsorship
