📋 Description

• Lead front-end and full-stack initiatives from ambiguous problem statements to shipped, measured outcomes • Make architecture decisions, sequence work, and manage project tradeoffs • Partner with product managers and designers on customer experiences • Own performance, stability, accessibility, and maintainability of shipped code • Integrate with mobile apps, subscription services, analytics, search and discovery, and loyalty systems • Use AI tooling to accelerate development while maintaining quality and independent judgment • Partner with UX Design to define and scale the design system and UI component library • Collaborate with analytics partners to establish measurement and tracking • Champion testing, documentation, and reusable team workflows • Participate in take-home and working review interview process covering system design, coding, product thinking, and AI usage

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years building and operating production web applications, with the front end as your strongest area • Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript • Experience with at least one modern component framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or similar) • Experience with state management and performance optimization for consumer-facing applications • Comfortable working across APIs, data models, integrations, CI, the browser, and infrastructure • Ability to become productive quickly in unfamiliar frameworks, languages, or platforms • Experience leading projects from vague problem statements through shipment • Product and design thinking • Strong written and verbal communication of technical tradeoffs • Genuine enthusiasm for Grove’s mission and sustainability values • Experience with Shopify, ecommerce at scale, subscription commerce, GraphQL, testing tools, Git workflows, CI, accessibility, A/B testing, and experimentation platforms are advantageous • Must be based in California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, or Massachusetts
