📋 Description

• Learn to perform duties in Risk Management under general supervision • Support risk management activities related to risk assessments and practices • Conduct non-financial risk assessments and risk reviews • Support GRC software activities • Work with large amounts of data across multiple systems • Synthesize data into actionable insights • Collaborate frequently with other areas of the credit union • Internship starts in Spring 2027 • Staggered start dates are January 26, 2027 and January 27, 2027 • New hire orientation is January 29, 2027

🎯 Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering or Risk Management at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina • Successful completion of a risk management course preferred • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Power BI knowledge preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel • Ability to work independently • Ability to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English • Must be able to hear and use a telephone • Ability to use a computer requiring repetitive keystrokes • Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx • Standard business hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday • Schedule will not exceed 29 hours per week • Must be located in one of the following states for remote roles: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming • Must not be in F-1 or J-1 status; employer will not sponsor work visas
