📋 Description

• Serve as a field-based, customer-facing, non-promotional medical and scientific expert in HIV treatment and prevention across the Pacific Northwest territory • Advance clinical practice to improve patient outcomes • Respond to medical and scientific inquiries and provide clinical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with external experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, investigators, societies, advocacy groups, and formulary decision-makers • Develop strategic territory plans and facilitate scientific discussions and collaborations • Discuss emerging data, clinical trials, patient-journey barriers, market dynamics, unmet medical needs, pipeline, disease state, products, adverse events, and medical insights • Gather and relay field insights to inform product development, clinical trial design, and market strategies • Provide feedback on ViiV products and services • Develop and deliver scientific presentations and training for healthcare professionals and internal teams • Support educational materials and scientific training for colleagues • Ensure regulatory and company-policy compliance and maintain accurate interaction records • Mentor and coach new or less experienced MSLs and lead scientific or strategic projects • Disseminate important safety information as directed by Medical Affairs or Research and Development • Support GSK and Investigator Sponsored Studies and work with Clinical Teams to improve site performance • Attend national and regional scientific/medical meetings • Collaborate across matrix stakeholders with a One-ViiV mindset • Complete training, CRM administration, expense reports, customer profiling, and related responsibilities on time

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree: MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or APP • 3+ years of clinical experience in HIV or Infectious Disease • Stakeholder management experience • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to travel 40–60% • Solid grounding in clinical, medical, and pharmaceutical science • Ability to rapidly assimilate specific and detailed scientific and medical knowledge • Experience evaluating and communicating evidence-based medicine • Strong scientific communication and presentation skills • Leadership skills and experience, including business acumen, stakeholder management, and successful project participation and completion • Experience mentoring fellow MSLs and leading complex field-based medical team initiatives • Experience participating in and representing field-based medical on internal cross-functional teams • Experience contributing to strategic planning and development of team objectives • Experience engaging effectively one-on-one and in group settings
