📋 Description

• Own the certified method portfolio for marketing mix and investment optimization, next-best-action and dynamic targeting, patient predictive triggering and causal measurement • Drive reuse of certified methods across brands and eliminate duplicate bespoke builds • Own deployment through decision engines, simulators, embedded field and omnichannel triggers, planning tools and measurement tools • Ensure adoption and sustained use of deployed methods and capabilities • Personally design, review and build analytics and AI solutions as a player-coach • Set and enforce standards for validation, versioning, documentation, reproducibility and explainability • Define certified enterprise methods versus brand configuration • Lead the applied AI agenda across agentic AI, generative AI and synthetic data • Manage a prototyping pipeline that graduates techniques into production or retires them based on evidence • Ensure compliance with GSK Responsible AI, privacy and data-use requirements • Establish model risk assessment, human oversight, permitted-use compliance, model registry and ongoing monitoring • Partner with data engineering, Digital & Technology and data management on platforms, engineering and certified inputs • Own build-versus-buy decisions and hold vendors to internal standards • Act as method authority for brand teams and Insights & Analytics • Translate demand into a prioritized roadmap and communicate uncertainty and limitations to executive audiences • Direct offshore GCC analytic capacity on methodology and development • Develop the organization and set the technical standard by example

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s and PhD preferred • 12+ years of experience with hands-on modeling • Experience deploying predictive analytics, machine learning, deep learning and/or information retrieval algorithms at scale • End-to-end model exploration, development, deployment and management experience • Experience developing insights and storylines through translation of analysis and modeling • Depth in commercial pharmaceutical methods, including marketing mix modeling, next-best-action, patient-level predictive modeling or causal measurement • Accountability for results used in business decisions • Production generative or agentic AI experience in commercial pharma under enterprise governance, shipped and in use • Experience building and deploying tools and methodologies for analytics and measurement of sales and marketing activities • End-to-end experience retrieving data and developing executive-level analysis through advanced analytics techniques • Experience setting agentic AI vision and governance across an organization • Working command of GenAI tooling, including LLM APIs, prompting, context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector stores, chunking, retrieval evaluation and LLMOps evaluation pipelines • Familiarity with multimodal data and US commercial data assets such as IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony and Veeva • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively across cultural and functional boundaries • Leadership capability, agile decision-making and ability to solve sophisticated problems • Flexible communication style and cultural awareness • Skills in AI frameworks, algorithm optimization, artificial neural networks, computer programming, deep learning, feature engineering, GCP for machine learning, machine learning algorithms, machine learning operations, Azure Data and AI, ML frameworks, model evaluation, model training, model validation, performance optimization and SDLC
