📋 Description

• Create impactful, actionable, timely, objective, and trusted insights for CFOs and senior finance leaders on enterprise value, growth, cost, margins, capital investment, and AI spending • Translate cutting-edge insights into practical teachings that improve business performance, financial decision-making, and finance-function transformation • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and actionable approaches to client needs • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to advance strategy • Establish Insights positions across a team of analysts and bring independent insights to Gartner leaders • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts • Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice through virtual or face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Support BTI and Sales by serving as the voice of the market and driving client engagement • Provide timely, high-quality peer review of content • Represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy as a Finance expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate with the Insights community • Identify research process improvements and develop new service-delivery processes • Mentor and coach junior team members • Help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • 10+ years of relevant Finance experience • At least 5 years working in enterprise financial strategy, including cost optimization, organizational structure, and M&A • Subject matter expertise in enterprise growth, cost, margins, and investments • Experience using and implementing AI in financial strategy workflows • Ideally, experience with FP&A systems and/or Treasury Management Software • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, presentation, and communication skills • Ability to analyze and synthesize data and apply patterns and frameworks • Ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large- and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
