📋 Description

• Advise business and technology clients on market landscapes, vendor selection, implementation, and software proposals • Research, write, and advise on digital transformation and evolving manufacturing solutions • Research emerging technologies, ecosystems, architectures, and business models • Create must-have research content, including Magic Quadrants, Market Guides, Hype Cycles, and Toolkits • Develop forward-looking research and thought leadership to accelerate client decision-making • Diagnose client challenges and reframe strategies to unlock progress • Synthesize market trends, emerging technologies, and independent insights into clear research positions • Provide actionable advice through virtual and face-to-face client and prospect interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Support Research and Sales through content development and client engagement • Conduct timely, high-quality research peer reviews • Represent Gartner research, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions • Identify research process improvements and develop new processes • Mentor and coach junior team members • Drive ongoing client engagement with Gartner research and advisory interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience • Significant experience developing, managing, implementing and/or using manufacturing operations technologies • Robust understanding of cross-industry manufacturing processes, especially manufacturing operations management, manufacturing execution systems and IT/OT integration • In-depth MES experience • Experience with at least two to three of: Manufacturing Operations, Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Excellence / Continuous Improvement, Production automation, Production Logistics • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines • Excellent research, writing, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling insights • Strong analytical skills, including synthesizing data, applying frameworks, and defending conclusions • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
