📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of API and integration products, including strategy, roadmap, feature definition, and execution • Define how ComPsych connects with customer systems, technology vendors, and strategic partners • Own the vision and roadmap for the API and integration portfolio • Define API design standards, versioning and deprecation, security and authentication models, developer experience, and build/buy/partner strategy • Own the integration strategy across HRIS, payroll, benefits, leave and absence, carrier, identity, and other partner integrations • Identify, evaluate, and manage technology vendors and strategic partners • Shape integration requirements, commercial and technical terms, and joint go-to-market plans • Own and manage the product backlog, write detailed stories, mitigate risk, and unblock teams • Synthesize customer, partner, and market needs into product requirements and align leadership on business value • Partner with Engineering, Security, and Architecture on API contracts, data models, authentication, performance, reliability, and monitoring • Define and track API and integration success metrics • Adopt AI for research, requirements, and prototyping; leverage AI and automation to reduce implementation effort and operational friction • Lead workshops and engage customers, partners, and internal teams to explore opportunities and validate assumptions • Enable customer-facing and implementation teams with product knowledge, documentation, go-to-market direction, and competitive positioning • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with demonstrated experience owning API, integration, or platform products • Experience building and communicating API roadmaps, API-as-a-product thinking, lifecycle management, versioning, and developer experience • Ability to read and review API specifications such as OpenAPI • Ability to reason about data models and system architecture • Working knowledge of REST, webhooks, event-driven architectures, OAuth/SSO, API gateways, JSON, XML, and flat-file/SFTP • Experience working with vendors and partners to build, launch, and scale integrations • Experience negotiating scope, managing dependencies, and driving joint outcomes • Experience in an agile development environment, writing detailed stories, managing backlog health, sequencing incremental value delivery, and delivering with cross-functional teams • Analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving • Ability to define and measure success through clear business metrics • Ability to drive initiatives forward with influence without formal authority • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Strong organizational, self-motivation, dependability, critical thinking, and multitasking skills • Experience in HR tech, leave/absence management, benefits, or digital health is strongly preferred • Technical background such as computer science degree, engineering, or solutions architecture experience is preferred • Familiarity with iPaaS, middleware, and partner marketplaces is preferred • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer
