📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, designers, engineers, and subject matter experts to build and ship high-impact products and services • Shape loosely defined problems into product strategies with vision, objectives, success measures, roadmaps, and backlogs • Translate ACF policy and program requirements into technical solutions and keep plans current as priorities shift • Write and prioritize user stories, build release plans, and facilitate planning, stakeholder syncs, and retrospectives • Partner with government teams to build digital skills and product knowledge throughout projects • Navigate bureaucratic challenges and help create more intuitive processes • Lead product work spanning rapid-turnaround surge requests and modernization efforts for ACF’s Data Capacity and Digital Services organization • Weigh architecture and data tradeoffs across platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Databricks, and enterprise AI tools

🎯 Requirements

• Develop a product strategy grounded in the problem to be solved, prioritizing outcomes over features, with a roadmap and clear success criteria • Apply lean and agile principles, including minimum viable product validation, scope decomposition, backlog prioritization, and facilitation of cross-functional ceremonies • Experience applying service design methods such as journey mapping, service blueprinting, and contextual inquiry • Hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled products or workflows • Understanding of organizational data flows and ability to identify fragmented or duplicated data • Technical fluency in system architecture, APIs, data modeling, security, and engineering tradeoffs • Ability to manage clients and stakeholders to build trust, alignment, and healthy environments • Track record of defining and measuring impact • Work approach aligned with Skylight’s core values • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship • Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 public trust background investigation • Must successfully complete a company background check • All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories • Some available federal-contract roles require a degree or additional years of experience as a substitute
