📋 Description

• Set frontend architecture strategy across products • Lead the design system as an engineering platform, including technical direction, contribution and release models, and adoption strategy • Own frontend accessibility, performance, reliability, security, testing, and production health • Create APIs, tooling, guardrails, documentation, and defaults for frontend engineering teams • Define AI-native engineering practices for frontend teams and maintain human review and production judgment • Raise frontend engineering standards across the organization • Grow Senior engineers into broader ownership • Build alignment across Engineering, Product, Design, and QA • Stay hands-on in high-risk technical work when needed • Turn recurring production problems into systemic and platform-level improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Deep frontend architecture expertise in substantial Angular, React, or comparable applications • Experience reasoning about state and reactivity, rendering, module and package boundaries, dependency management, browser behavior, and performance • Technical depth to lead an Angular + TypeScript platform • Understanding of component, browser, build and bundling, package-management, testing, and performance concepts • Experience building frontend platforms used by other teams • Knowledge of component APIs, tokens and theming, versioning, migrations, backward compatibility, contribution models, and adoption • Ability to establish quality gates, performance expectations, accessible interaction patterns, and frontend security practices • Understanding of API and service boundaries, authentication and authorization, asynchronous systems, observability, failure modes, and deployment behavior • Ability to create technical direction, defend consequential decisions, build alignment, and grow Senior engineers • Experience working AI-first at organizational scale with AI agents • Full-time employment • Remote work in the United States
