📋 Description

• Manage projects from cultivation to completion • Lead activities of the designated project team • Support day-to-day management of client relationships • Develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets • Manage multiple projects simultaneously • Produce high-quality, client-ready work products • Lead team meetings • Guide, manage, and coach staff consultants • Provide constructive feedback on project participation and career development • Collaborate with Directors and Managing Directors and communicate project progress and important developments • Participate in sales initiatives and practice development • Progress along Guidehouse’s defined career path toward Director through sales, project management, workstream management, professional expertise, and client/business development goals

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related course of study; advanced degree/PhD preferred • Minimum 6+ years of prior relevant consulting or work experience working with large global pharma, mid-sized pharma and/or biotech clients • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch • Ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies • Experience advising brand leaders, business unit leaders, and insights & analytics leaders in pharma companies on portfolio strategy, commercialization strategy, and launch preparation • Experience with market sizing, HCP segmentation, patient journey, forecasting, brand strategy, commercial model design, sales force sizing, marketing mix, and budget planning • Experience with key Pharma datasets, including CMS, EvaluatePharma, IQVIA/Symphony/Komodo claims, affiliations, and Veeva activity data • Ability to work independently with management oversight • Experience managing project components, owning workstreams and/or analytics, and supervising, coaching, or mentoring others • Excellent communication skills for conveying strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management • Strong analytical skills using Excel, Access, and analytic techniques to guide decision-making • 5+ years of experience leading project engagements, including planning, scoping, budget development, management, resource allocation, and managing multiple or complex projects within scope, timeline, and budget • 3+ years of formal management of team performance to achieve project goals and exceed client expectations • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the US, up to 30% of the time • Demonstrated success formally supervising, coaching, and mentoring junior-level staff, including ownership and guidance of career development • Authorized/eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship • Track record of managing team performance • Collaborative team player • Exceptional client management experience, including expanding client relationships • Experience collaborating with senior leadership to pursue add-on and cross-business opportunities at external clients
